Scanned passports default to keeping the entire image. ID photos default to a crop you can adjust. Output is always JPG. File size uses conservative limits that fit both decimal KB and binary KiB requirements.
A size-compliant file does not guarantee registration acceptance. Check readability, framing, and the current application instructions. The ID output follows 300 × 400 pixels; this is not the same aspect ratio as 3.5 × 4.5 cm.
